Susie O’Hara is a dynamic leader with over 20 years of experience administering water utility and city-wide strategic programs. By applying her professional engineering experience to community-wide social and environmental challenges, Susie has built, managed, and delivered programs to solve her community’s most vexing challenges including reducing the energy and GHG impacts of a proposed desalination project, building a world-class water conservation program, reducing recidivism among habitual drug offenders, and creating alternative shelter for chronically homeless individuals. Each project Susie takes on is guided by the principles of team building, drawing upon the innate skills and experiences of invested stakeholders, highlighting systems that work and removing redundancies, and delivering tangible results.
