Lionel Puhuyesva

Lionel is a member of the Hopi Tribe located in Northeastern Arizona.  He has over 20+ years in the Environmental Field with an emphasis on Watershed Management, Regulatory Compliance and Water and Wastewater Utility Operations.  He has worked in federal, tribal and nonprofit organizations where he has performed technical, managerial and financial duties that resulted in program development and implementation for tribal nations nationwide.  He has received many awards and accolades; the most recent of which is the 2017 USEPA Region 9 Connor Byestewa Award for Environmental Excellence while he was the Director of Water Resources for the Hopi Tribe. Lionel currently resides in Tempe, Arizona.
